The U.S. Army awarded V2X a $104.6 million modification for communications systems supporting its operational bases, raising the existing contract’s cumulative face value to $813.1 million.

The contract covers the operation, maintenance and defense of Army communications information systems and infrastructure. The Army announced the modification Oct. 30.

At the time of the award, the Army obligated $16.2 million in fiscal 2027 operations and maintenance funds. That is the amount committed at award; the $104.6 million figure is the value of the modification.

V2X Systems is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It will perform the work in Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain and Qatar. The estimated completion date is Oct. 31, 2028.
