Oracle disclosed Monday, Nov. 2, that it had filed for a mixed shelf offering and planned a $10 billion common stock offering first announced at its financial analyst day.

A shelf registration provides a framework for future securities offerings. Specific terms are set out in later supplements, so the filing does not itself establish the terms of a particular sale.
