Northwood Space has raised $375 million in a Series C that values the U.S. satellite company at $2 billion and will support expansion, hiring and existing contract work.

Andreessen Horowitz and DFJ Growth co-led the financing. Northwood plans to use the funding alongside a financial agreement with HSBC to scale its operations, add staff and fulfill existing contracts.

Founded in 2022, Northwood develops antennas and software for communications between satellites and Earth. Co-founder Bridgit Mendler is the company’s CEO.

Northwood’s prior round was a $100 million Series B announced in January, with Andreessen Horowitz among its co-leads.
