Bitbase began a three-stage upgrade on Nov. 2 with a redesigned brand and a new mascot, BENIE, marking the first of planned changes to the exchange’s product experience and user engagement.

The new branding is now visible in Bitbase’s app, website and official social accounts. The company also introduced BENIE as its mascot.

A second stage will bring changes to the product experience, including the interface and user journey. The final stage is expected to alter how users interact with the platform. Bitbase did not specify timing for those later stages and plans to share details through its official channels.

“We chose to start with the brand because it sets the standard for every change that follows,” said Nicholas Lo, Bitbase’s chief business officer.

Bitbase serves individual and institutional users worldwide. Its products include Spot, Futures, TradFi and Earn.
