Pfizer Faces 16% EPS Decline Estimate as Q3 Report Nears
Analysts project revenue of $15.88 billion, down 4.6%, as investors look for updates on cost cuts, drug exclusivity and a Metsera-linked obesity candidate.

Pfizer’s third-quarter report is due before U.S. markets open Tuesday, Nov. 3, with analysts projecting lower earnings and revenue as investors assess the company’s growth outlook and product pipeline.
Analysts estimate earnings per share of 73 cents, down 16%, and revenue of $15.88 billion, down 4.6%. Those are forecasts ahead of the report, not results. Pfizer was included on an earlier list of upcoming third-quarter reports.
Investors will look for updates on the company’s cost-cutting program and details about Eliquis, Ibrance and Xtandi, which are approaching loss of exclusivity. A Pfizer anti-obesity candidate tied to Metsera is also drawing attention as a potential future product.
Pfizer management projects high single-digit growth from 2028 to 2033. Analysts expect no growth over the next 10 years, setting up a contrast between the company’s outlook and outside expectations.
