Airbus Adds Three Pilot Training Products to Skywise Portfolio
The lineup includes cloud-based lessons for Airbus A320, A330 and A350 aircraft, plus cockpit procedure practice on mobile devices and in virtual reality.

Airbus is adding three pilot-training products to Skywise, its wholly owned digital-services subsidiary, expanding the business’s portfolio with established training tools. The additions are MATe Suite, the Virtual Procedure Trainer (VPT) and Flight eLearning.
MATe Suite provides cloud-based, self-paced lessons for the A320, A330 and A350 aircraft families. Its materials include interactive 3D system modules, along with an examination system. The VPT offers pilots a simulated cockpit for procedure practice through mobile devices or virtual reality, with tactile feedback.
The announcement did not detail Flight eLearning’s features. Skywise is deploying new hosting infrastructure to streamline operator and training manager onboarding and permissions while keeping current customer deployments running.
Skywise CEO Marc Lemeilleur said, “We are unifying our Digital Flight Training Solutions.”
The move adds existing products to Skywise’s portfolio: Airbus announced MATe in 2021 and VPT in 2022. Airbus established Skywise as a wholly owned subsidiary in April 2026, combining its Skywise digital-solutions and Navblue businesses.
