Tempus Raises 2026 Revenue Guidance Floor to $1.60 Billion
Third-quarter revenue increased 23% to $411.5 million. Tempus kept its adjusted EBITDA outlook near $65 million.

Tempus AI, Inc. raised the minimum of its 2026 revenue forecast by $5 million after third-quarter revenue grew 23% from a year earlier. The company now expects revenue of $1.60 billion to $1.605 billion, with adjusted EBITDA of about $65 million.
The previous revenue range was $1.595 billion to $1.605 billion, and the adjusted EBITDA target was unchanged. Tempus characterized its updated revenue outlook as roughly 25% annual growth.
Revenue for the three months ended Sept. 30 totaled $411.537 million, compared with $334.206 million in the same period a year earlier. Diagnostics brought in $303.5 million, up 20%, while Data and Applications revenue rose 33% to $108.1 million. Oncology testing volume increased 32%, and minimal residual disease testing reached about 12,000 tests, a 300% increase.
Adjusted EBITDA was $25.572 million, compared with $1.476 million in the year-earlier quarter. The GAAP net loss narrowed to $14.851 million from $79.982 million. “Q3 was another record quarter,” said Eric Lefkofsky, Tempus’ founder and CEO.
Separate from its results and updated outlook, Tempus has an oncology data and services agreement with Bristol Myers Squibb. A statement of work signed Oct. 14 provides for $137.5 million in fixed payments through Dec. 31, 2031. Tempus will license oncology records and provide access to its Lens software and related services.
A separate five-year agreement with Pathos AI covers neurology data and an analysis tool. It could bring Tempus up to $55 million: $50 million in fees tied to records delivered and $5 million for record updates. Pathos can use the data and tool to support Bristol Myers Squibb’s drug-development work. The arrangement’s terms were outlined in the previously covered Pathos neurology-data deal.
The Pathos order form was signed Oct. 22. Both agreements came after the quarter ended Sept. 30, so their stated contract amounts are separate from the quarter’s reported revenue. Tempus said a special committee of disinterested directors reviewed and approved the Pathos transactions because of overlapping executive leadership and equity ownership.
