Kamino Ties Most Team KMNO Unlocks to $1B-$10B FDV Milestones
The Kamino Foundation plans to spend at least $20 million over the next 24 months. Any KMNO buybacks or burns would depend on its finances.

Kamino CEO Michael Weisz outlined a plan to tie most team KMNO unlocks to sustained fully diluted valuation (FDV) milestones, while the Kamino Foundation plans to spend at least $20 million over the next 24 months.
Kamino is a liquidity protocol on Solana. The thresholds range from $1 billion to $10 billion, with most tokens unlocking only after FDV sustains the relevant milestone. Weisz said future team unlocks will follow a similar structure.
Weisz said the Kamino Foundation owns Kamino’s on-chain and off-chain revenue and intellectual property and has no shareholders. The foundation plans to put the funds toward products, partnerships and team expansion.
The foundation may consider KMNO buybacks or burns if its finances allow, Weisz said. Kamino is targeting about 10% of the tokenized real-world asset market in the short to medium term and about 20% by 2030. Its spending plan covers the next 24 months, while the market-share target extends through 2030.
