Strategy Bought 7,218 Bitcoin and Sold 5,552 in Q3 Filing

Strategy bought 7,218 Bitcoin (BTC) for $588.093 million and sold 5,552 BTC for $348.558 million in the third quarter, ending the period with a net increase of 1,666 BTC.

Strategy’s Form 10-Q, accepted by the SEC at 5:23 p.m. ET (22:23 UTC) on Nov. 2, reported the transactions for the quarter ended Sept. 30. It held 847,666 BTC at quarter-end, up from 846,000 on June 30.

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) added 79,800 BTC in Q3, nearly twice the 41,300 BTC mined during the quarter. Net flows shifted from $4.76 billion in outflows in Q2 to $6.24 billion in inflows in Q3.

Public Bitcoin treasury companies’ estimated purchases totaled 12,000 BTC, worth about $1 billion, in Q3, down from $7.1 billion in Q2.
