Tempus AI shares gained about 9% during Monday’s session, Nov. 2, when the health technology company released third-quarter results showing higher revenue and a $5 million increase to the floor of its 2026 outlook. The timing places the stock move alongside the earnings release but does not establish what drove it.

The quarter’s revenue totaled $411.537 million, compared with $334.206 million a year earlier. Diagnostics revenue rose 20% to $303.470 million, while Data and Applications revenue, which includes data and software products, increased 33% to $108.067 million.

Tempus now expects 2026 revenue of $1.60 billion to $1.605 billion, up from its prior range of $1.595 billion to $1.605 billion. The company left the top of the range unchanged. Its adjusted EBITDA outlook remains about $65 million.

Oncology testing volume rose 32% year over year. Minimal residual disease testing volume reached about 12,000 tests, up 300% from a year earlier. Tempus applies artificial intelligence to precision medicine.

Adjusted EBITDA was $25.572 million, compared with $1.476 million in the year-earlier quarter. Non-GAAP net income was $13.359 million, or 7 cents per diluted share. On a GAAP basis, Tempus had a net loss of $14.851 million, or 8 cents per share.

“Q3 was another record quarter,” said Eric Lefkofsky, Tempus’ founder and CEO.
