Broadridge Beats Fiscal Q1 Estimates as Digital-Asset Loss Weighs on Profit
Recurring revenue rose 11% to $1.08 billion, while reported diluted earnings per share fell to $0.83 from $1.40.

Broadridge Financial Solutions beat fiscal first-quarter estimates and reaffirmed its fiscal 2027 outlook, while a $40.2 million digital-asset loss accompanied a steep drop in reported earnings.
The company released results Nov. 3 for the three months ended Sept. 30, 2026. Revenue rose 5% from a year earlier to $1.67 billion, while recurring revenue climbed 11% to $1.08 billion.
Adjusted earnings per share were $1.56, up from $1.51 a year earlier and above the $1.37 pre-report estimate. Revenue also exceeded pre-report estimates in the $1.64 billion to $1.65 billion range.
Reported net earnings fell to $94.8 million from $165.4 million. Diluted earnings per share declined to $0.83 from $1.40 as the digital-asset result swung from a $45.8 million gain in the year-earlier quarter to a loss. Broadridge excludes digital-asset gains and losses from adjusted earnings.
Broadridge kept its fiscal 2027 outlook, which calls for recurring-revenue growth of 6% to 8% at constant currency and adjusted earnings-per-share growth of 8% to 12%. Its closed-sales target remains $290 million to $330 million.
“Broadridge is driving digital engagement, scaling agentic AI, and accelerating tokenization while delivering strong financial results,” CEO Tim Gokey said.
