All Luce cars Ferrari plans to produce in 2027 have been allocated, CEO Benedetto Vigna said Tuesday on a call covering the automaker’s third-quarter results.

Vigna said new customers would face a yearlong wait: “If someone comes, he has to wait one year to get the cars.”

The five-seat Luce is Ferrari’s first electric car and starts at about $615,000. First deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter. Ferrari has not disclosed how many cars it plans to produce.

Designed by Jony Ive, Apple’s longtime design chief, the Luce drew criticism after its May debut.
