IPG Photonics Corporation has scheduled its next Investor Day for March 2, 2027, in New York City, while projecting fourth-quarter revenue of $265 million to $295 million.

CEO Mark Gitin announced the date during the company’s Nov. 3 earnings call. He said IPG Photonics plans to discuss its strategy and long-term financial targets at the event, with further details to come.

For the fourth quarter of 2026, the company forecast adjusted gross margin of 37% to 40%, adjusted operating expenses of $91 million to $94 million, adjusted diluted earnings per share of 30 cents to 60 cents, and adjusted EBITDA of $33 million to $50 million. The outlook assumes no contribution from the planned Lumibird Medical acquisition.

Management said the forecast incorporates some moderation in China battery capacity additions. It also described demand trends in other markets and regions as strong. The company’s third-quarter book-to-bill ratio was about one.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $287.5 million, up 15% from $250.8 million a year earlier. It marked the company’s fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit year-over-year revenue growth. Third-quarter GAAP gross margin was 40.7%, while adjusted gross margin was 41.0%; net tariff refunds of $5 million benefited gross margin.

IPG Photonics makes laser and photonics systems for industrial, medical and other applications. The Investor Day is scheduled for March 2, 2027, in New York City.
