TD Bank Group expects C$130 million in catastrophe claims to be reflected in its Wealth Management & Insurance segment’s fiscal fourth-quarter 2026 results. The disclosed figures are stated in Canadian dollars.

The estimates were C$117 million for fiscal Q3 2026 and C$15 million for Q4 2025. The Q4 2026 estimate is a pretax cost net of reinsurance recoveries and may include reinsurance reinstatement premiums.

TD defines catastrophe claims as claims tied to one event in a fiscal quarter when aggregate claims reach at least C$5 million before reinsurance. The bank plans to release its fiscal Q4 2026 results on Dec. 3, 2026.
