Hammond Manufacturing Posts C$0.73 Third-Quarter EPS, C$1.84 for Nine Months
Third-quarter sales and net income increased from a year earlier. Hammond cited lower U.S. tariff costs and a one-time tariff refund among the factors.

Hammond Manufacturing Company Limited earned C$0.73 per share in the third quarter ended Sept. 25, up from C$0.34 a year earlier, as sales and net income also increased. The maker of electrical enclosures and racks posted C$1.84 per share for the first nine months of 2026.
Third-quarter net income rose to C$8.25 million from C$3.86 million in 2025. Sales increased to C$86.47 million from C$70.79 million. For the first nine months, earnings per share were C$1.84, compared with C$1.10 in the same period last year. Basic and diluted earnings per share were the same in both comparisons.
Hammond pointed to strength across North American markets, lower U.S. tariff-related costs than in 2025 and a one-time refund of U.S. IEEPA tariffs as factors in its results.
The company expects an 85,000-square-foot expansion in Palmerston, Ontario, to begin operating in the second half of 2027. Its board also approved plans for a new facility in Fergus, Ontario, and upgrades to its Guelph plant.
