The Hackett Group, Inc. (HCKT) projects fourth-quarter 2026 revenue of $68 million to $70 million and adjusted gross margin near 48.5% as it expands the use of its XT and AIX platforms.

CEO Ted Fernandez described the effort as “the continued progress of our AI transition strategy.” Management said the platforms are beginning to improve sales and delivery productivity.

The company expects XT and AIX to reach more than 90% of the opportunities it can pursue. It expects net revenue growth to begin early in 2027.

The fourth quarter outlook includes several headwinds: fewer billing days, a calendar-related drag on earnings per share and an approximately $1 million charge tied to the AI transition.

Management also cited macroeconomic concerns, competing investment priorities, client questions about returns on AI and longer decision-making as risks to growth.
