Novo Nordisk Raises 2026 Outlook as Wegovy Pill Sales Reach DKK 5.394B
Adjusted sales reached DKK 79.195 billion, up 4% at constant exchange rates. Adjusted operating profit rose 27% at constant exchange rates to DKK 31.72 billion.

Novo Nordisk raised its 2026 outlook for sales and operating profit after its Wegovy pill generated DKK 5.394 billion in third-quarter sales across four markets, including the United States.
The company now expects adjusted sales and adjusted operating profit to each range from a 2% decline to 2% growth this year at constant exchange rates. Its previous outlook allowed declines of up to 6% or flat results for both measures. The improved outlook reflects higher expectations for GLP-1 product sales.
The pill was available in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and Germany by quarter-end. Four more launches afterward brought availability to eight markets.
Novo Nordisk's adjusted sales totaled DKK 79.195 billion in the quarter, up 4% at constant exchange rates. Adjusted operating profit rose 27% at constant exchange rates to DKK 31.72 billion.
Novo Nordisk was listed among companies scheduled to report in an earlier health care earnings calendar.
