Freshpet, Inc. posted third-quarter revenue of $317.8 million, up 10% year over year, while GAAP earnings per share of $0.58 beat estimates and net income fell from a year earlier.
The earnings-per-share figure exceeded estimates by $0.19. Revenue was $5.88 million above estimates.
Net income was $29.7 million, compared with $101.7 million in the year-earlier quarter. That earlier period included a discrete tax benefit of $77.9 million.
