Sentra Raises $150 Million to Expand AI Data Security Platform
Capital One Ventures led the investment, and a representative from the investor will join Sentra’s board.

Sentra raised $150 million to expand software that helps companies track which people and AI agents can access sensitive data and manage that access. Capital One Ventures led the investment.
Sentra announced the investment Wednesday, Nov. 4. A Capital One representative will join the company’s board. Sentra co-founder and CEO Yoav Regev said, “AI agents are now the busiest consumers of enterprise data.”
Sentra’s platform classifies sensitive data and maps access by employees, service accounts and AI agents, including inherited access. The software can flag unusual access, revoke permissions and remove risky data sharing. It can also show what an agent could have reached.
The software analyzes data within customers’ environments. It covers cloud services, software-as-a-service applications, data warehouses and on-premises file shares.
Sentra plans to expand visibility into agents, copilots and models that touch sensitive data. It also plans to improve rapid containment, grow its field and channel programs, and enter new geographies.
Year-over-year growth exceeded 300% in the year before the announcement, though the metric was not specified.
