Innospec projected free cash flow of $55 million to $60 million in 2027, with the outlook depending on relatively stable raw-material costs and less cash tied up in working capital.

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Ian Cleminson gave the forecast during the company’s earnings call Wednesday, Nov. 4. He also projected fourth-quarter 2026 free cash flow of $40 million to $50 million.

President and CEO Patrick S. Williams said Innospec expects to commission efficiency upgrades at its North Carolina plant by year-end. The company expects the upgrades to increase capacity, productivity and yields across personal-care and other products.

For the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, revenue was $473.6 million, up 7% from a year earlier. Net income attributable to Innospec was $31.8 million, or $1.29 per diluted share.

Operating activities generated $17.4 million in cash during the quarter, while capital expenditures totaled $15.6 million. In the first nine months of 2026, working-capital changes used $87.4 million, compared with $24.4 million in the same period of 2025.

Innospec had $251.9 million in cash and cash equivalents and no debt as of Sept. 30. Its businesses include Performance Chemicals, Fuel Specialties and Oilfield Services. Performance Chemicals serves personal-care and other markets; the other businesses supply fuel additives and chemicals for oil and gas exploration and production.
