Coinbase Prime has launched regulated global options and perpetual futures trading for eligible institutional clients in the United States and other qualified jurisdictions, giving U.S. firms access to the same liquidity pool used by global traders.

Deribit supplies liquidity for the service. The offering supports more than 20 crypto assets, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, Avalanche (AVAX) and Hyperliquid (HYPE).

Clients can use BTC, ETH and USD Coin (USDC) as collateral. Coinbase Prime plans to add more collateral assets over time.

The launch puts the two products under one Coinbase Prime offering for institutions that qualify in the United States and other eligible regions. U.S. and global traders will use a common pool, with Deribit providing liquidity.

The supported list exceeds 20 assets, while BTC, ETH and USDC are available as collateral at launch. The products are regulated, and Coinbase Prime plans further collateral support over time.
