Adient plc (ADNT) forecast fiscal 2027 revenue of $14.8 billion to $15 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $900 million to $925 million, while management plans about $100 million in share repurchases during the year.

The board increased Adient’s buyback authorization by $400 million. The company also expects fiscal 2027 free cash flow to exceed $100 million.

Adient recorded about $15.2 billion in fiscal 2026 revenue, a 4% increase from the prior year. Adjusted EBITDA was $884 million, flat year over year, and free cash flow totaled $222 million.

At the end of fiscal 2026, Adient had $886 million in cash, $1.5 billion in net debt and net leverage of 1.7 times. Management described its fiscal 2027 outlook as dependent on stronger business performance amid significant volume and mix headwinds.

The company expects to grow faster than the China market, though at a slower rate than before. It identified Europe as its most challenging region, citing excess capacity and no near-term improvement in conditions.
