uniQure expects its $768.4 million in cash, cash equivalents and investment securities to fund operations into 2030 as it prepares for a potential launch of its Huntington’s disease gene therapy, AMT-130. The company reported the balance as of Sept. 30, 2026.
Management said its runway outlook includes higher selling, general and administrative spending for launch preparation. It also said early access to AMT-130 may be limited by treatment-center capacity and payer and institutional approvals, while manufacturing is not expected to constrain access.
The Food and Drug Administration accepted uniQure’s biologics license application for AMT-130 and granted Priority Review, with a May 1, 2027, target action date. The FDA decision was covered in [an earlier report on AMT-130’s review].
