Matador Resources Company expects mid-single-digit production growth in 2027 under current commodity and service pricing. Management linked improved gas pricing and stronger cash flow to a shift in gas sales from Waha to Hugh Brinson.

Matador management cited $162 million in third-quarter cash flow, compared with negative $38 million in the second quarter. It attributed the improvement in part to the gas sales shift.

Founder, CEO & Chairman of the Board Joseph Wm. Foran said production rose 10% from Dec. 31, 2025, to more than 230,000 BOEs.

The company has paid down $150 million in debt and plans further repayments while pursuing production growth. Management has not detailed Matador’s 2027 capital program.

Management also cited Cardinal integration and Marlan expansion as growth drivers. Matador is open to monetizing San Mateo while seeking to preserve control and flow assurance.
