OceanaGold Posts $654.9 Million in Q3 Revenue as Gold Output Falls
Net profit reached $198.1 million, and the company expects its strongest production quarter of 2026 in Q4.

OceanaGold Corporation generated $654.9 million in third-quarter revenue and $198.1 million in net profit, as gold output declined 4% from the previous quarter ahead of an expected Q4 production peak.
The results cover the three months ended Sept. 30, 2026. OceanaGold released them after U.S. markets closed Wednesday, Nov. 4. All financial amounts are in U.S. dollars.
Diluted earnings were $0.88 per share. The company’s adjusted diluted earnings were $0.94 per share, a non-IFRS measure. Its average realized gold price was $4,249 per ounce.
Gold production reached 133,400 ounces, and copper production totaled 3,400 tonnes. Free cash flow came to $155.3 million. OceanaGold finished the quarter with $729 million in cash and no debt.
Lower production at Haile and Macraes outweighed gains at Waihi and Didipio. At Haile, a revised mine plan kept crews working in lower-grade upper benches of the Ledbetter open pit to manage risk along the pit’s south wall. By the end of September, mining had moved to lower benches, opening access to higher-grade ore.
OceanaGold expects production to rise in Q4, with Haile driving most of the increase. The company projects that quarter will have its highest production of 2026.
“The third quarter marked another period of safe and responsible gold production, with costs improving as planned,” President and CEO Gerard Bond said. OceanaGold shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol OGC.
