Tenspresso, an AI chip startup founded three months ago by a former Google AI chip engineer, is discussing a funding round that could value the company at $500 million.

The startup received $20 million from Striker Venture Partners a few weeks ago and completed several key hires. Altimeter Capital Management later approached Tenspresso to discuss additional investment.

The amount and terms of the potential financing have not been disclosed. The discussions may not result in a deal.
