Normalized diluted EPS rose 3.2% to C$2.59, and the company maintained its 2026 outlook for record sales and earnings.

Canadian manufacturer Linamar Corp. lifted third-quarter sales 21% to C$3.076 billion, while net earnings fell 12.4% to C$148.3 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026. All dollar figures are in Canadian dollars.
Normalized diluted earnings per share, or EPS, rose 3.2% to C$2.59. Reported diluted EPS declined 11% to C$2.51. Linamar classifies normalized EPS as a non-GAAP measure and cautions that its normalized measures do not have standardized GAAP meanings or serve as alternatives to GAAP measures.
Mobility sales increased 20.4% to C$2.31 billion. The segment includes vehicle-related products. Industrial sales rose 22.8% to C$761.3 million; that segment serves access-equipment and agricultural markets.
Executive Chair Linda Hasenfratz said, “Q3 was another solid quarter for us despite softening markets with sales and earnings growth again achieved.”
Linamar maintained its outlook for record sales and earnings in 2026. More than 90% of its sales were tariff-free, while tariffs on some metal derivatives weighed on Industrial growth. Most of the company’s auto parts that comply with the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement were tariff-free when shipped to the United States.
