PacBio narrowed its 2026 revenue guidance to $155 million to $160 million and reiterated its 2028 cash-flow breakeven goal while outlining targets for cash and expenses.

The company expects to finish 2026 with $175 million to $185 million in cash. It lowered its operating expense outlook to $203 million to $207 million.

More than half of Revio consumable revenue came from customers using SPRQ-Nx chemistry, CEO, President and Director Mark Van Oene said.

PacBio said inconsistent academic and government funding in the Americas and a slow recovery in China weighed on its outlook. Higher memory costs and expenses tied to the Vega manufacturing transition pressured gross margin.
