Cirrus Logic Sets Fiscal Q3 2027 Revenue Range at $510 Million to $570 Million
September-quarter revenue rose 22% to $559.5 million, and the completed INVENTVM deal adds mixed-signal expertise for new opportunities.

Cirrus Logic, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRUS) expects revenue of $510 million to $570 million in fiscal third-quarter 2027 after September-quarter sales rose 22% sequentially. The company has also completed its acquisition of INVENTVM, expanding its mixed-signal expertise for opportunities in areas including AI gadgets and wearables.
Revenue for the September quarter was $559.5 million. GAAP earnings were $2.23 per share, while non-GAAP earnings were $2.70 per share. Chief Executive John Forsyth described the results as solid, with earnings on both measures accompanying the sequential revenue increase.
Cirrus Logic management attributed the quarter’s growth to higher smartphone volumes and content. Lower PC sales partly offset those gains, leaving the company with growth across some areas and declines in another.
The company’s next-quarter forecast follows a shift in when some revenue arrived. Management said revenue that had been expected in December instead came in during September, and characterized the timing difference as unrelated to a change in demand. That shift is part of the context for the fiscal third-quarter range, which spans $510 million to $570 million.
Management also called the September quarter a high point and expects gross margin of 51% to 53% in fiscal Q3. Wafer agreements and targeted price increases are expected to support the margin range. The margin outlook accompanies the fiscal Q3 revenue forecast, while management’s explanation centers on timing between quarters.
Cirrus Logic cited higher attach rates for its third-generation controller and expects additional content growth across product areas. The company also has initial orders for industrial imaging. These are among the product opportunities mentioned alongside the acquisition’s mixed-signal expertise.
INVENTVM adds mixed-signal expertise for potential work in areas such as AI gadgets and wearables. Together, the acquisition and product activity broaden the areas discussed as Cirrus Logic looks beyond the quarter’s smartphone-related gains. Its fiscal Q3 forecast and gross-margin range provide the company’s next near-term financial targets.
