Energy Fuels Inc. recorded a $52.37 million consolidated net loss in the third quarter even as revenue rose by $11.47 million from a year earlier, with a noncash securities loss driving most of the deficit.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, totaled $29.18 million, compared with $17.71 million in the same period a year earlier. The company reported a $52.206 million net loss attributable to Energy Fuels Inc. Basic and diluted loss per share was $0.20, compared with $0.07 a year earlier.

Energy Fuels recorded a $35.276 million unrealized loss on marketable securities and $9.484 million in interest income during the quarter. The company characterized the securities loss as noncash and the primary driver of its quarterly loss. A noncash loss is recorded without an equivalent cash payment during the period.

Uranium revenue was $28.449 million. Energy Fuels sold 320,000 pounds of U₃O₈ at a weighted average realized price of $88.90 per pound.

Rare-earth metals and alloys generated $436,000 in revenue, with related costs of $411,000. The sales followed Energy Fuels’ Aug. 28 acquisition of Australian Strategic Materials Ltd., which included the Korean Metals Plant.

“Higher realized uranium prices supported improved margins, while we continued advancing our uranium production pipeline,” said Ross Bhappu, Energy Fuels’ president and CEO.

Energy Fuels expects its pending acquisition of Vacuumschmelze GmbH & Co. KG to close in early 2027, subject to required regulatory approvals.
