Upbit Schedules CARDS Trading in KRW, BTC and USDT Markets
Trading was scheduled to begin at 2:30 a.m. ET (07:30 UTC) Nov. 5, or 4:30 p.m. KST in South Korea.

South Korean crypto exchange Upbit scheduled CARDS trading to begin in three markets — Korean won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC) and Tether (USDT) — at 2:30 a.m. ET (07:30 UTC) Nov. 5. The stated local start was 4:30 p.m. KST in South Korea.
The markets represent three trading pairs: CARDS/KRW, CARDS/BTC and CARDS/USDT. KRW identifies the South Korean won market, while BTC and USDT identify the crypto assets used to quote CARDS. Each pair gives CARDS a separate market price against one of those assets.
The scheduled time falls in the early morning for U.S. readers, while retaining the Nov. 5 calendar date in Eastern Time. South Korea’s 4:30 p.m. start converts to 2:30 a.m. ET, or 07:30 UTC. Upbit set one stated start time for the three markets, covering the KRW, BTC and USDT pairs together.
The listing centers on Upbit’s South Korean markets and spans one local-currency pair and two crypto pairs. CARDS was scheduled to trade against the Korean won, Bitcoin and USDT on the exchange.
