eToro agreed Nov. 4 to acquire Argentine financial app LB Finanzas, a deal aimed at strengthening its Latin American presence, with plans to make Argentina its regional hub.

Founded in Rosario in 2018, LB Finanzas serves individuals and businesses through one app. It offers stocks, exchange-traded funds, crypto assets and money market funds, alongside Argentine peso and U.S. dollar accounts and payment services. The app serves hundreds of thousands of users and is regulated by Argentina’s National Securities Commission (CNV) and Central Bank (BCRA).

“For our clients, nothing changes today. What comes next is more products and more scale with the same team they already know,” LB Finanzas co-founder and CEO Camilo Cristia said.

The agreement is eToro’s fourth acquisition in 2026. In April, eToro agreed to buy self-custody wallet provider Zengo; it acquired Israeli crypto exchange Bit2C in May and announced a deal to acquire U.S. brokerage TradeZero in August.

The LB Finanzas deal remains subject to customary closing conditions.
