National Grid Sets $1.1433-Per-ADS Interim Dividend for 2027
The 16.97-pence ordinary-share payout is 3.8% above the previous interim dividend. Payment is scheduled for Jan. 12.
The board of National Grid plc approved a 2026/27 interim dividend of 16.97 pence per ordinary share, equal to $1.1433 per American depositary share (ADS). The payment is scheduled for Jan. 12, 2027, for shareholders on the register Nov. 20, 2026.
The ordinary-share payout is 3.8% higher than the previous interim dividend of 16.35 pence. Each ADS represents five ordinary shares. National Grid will also offer a scrip dividend alternative.
Ordinary shares are due to go ex-dividend Nov. 19, 2026, and ADSs on Nov. 20. The stated ADS amount is the scheduled distribution; a depositary fee of up to $0.05 per ADS may apply to cash distributions, but the fee for this payment has not been specified.
Its policy targets annual per-share dividend growth in line with UK CPIH, aiming to preserve the dividend’s real value. The dividend was announced with the company’s half-year results, covered in TokenPost’s earlier report on National Grid.
