Coherent Posts $2.37 Billion in Fiscal Q1 Revenue, Sets Q2 Outlook

Coherent Corp. posted $2.37 billion in revenue for fiscal 2027's first quarter, an increase of 49.9% year over year on a GAAP basis and 56% on a pro forma basis. It forecast second-quarter revenue of $2.55 billion to $2.75 billion.

Before the earnings release, Wall Street analysts expected first-quarter sales growth of more than 50% amid increased investment in AI data centers, an earlier sales forecast.
