Santen Pharmaceutical First-Half Revenue Rises 3.9% to ¥143.289 Billion

Santen Pharmaceutical recorded a 3.9% increase in revenue to ¥143.289 billion for the six months ended Sept. 30, compared with the year-earlier period, as operating and net profit also advanced.

Revenue was ¥137.879 billion a year earlier. Operating profit increased 8.4% to ¥19.411 billion, and net profit rose 11.7% to ¥15.478 billion.

Basic earnings per share was ¥48.05, and diluted earnings per share was ¥47.97. The interim results were prepared under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and cover the six-month period, rather than the September quarter alone.

Santen left its forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, unchanged. It expects revenue of ¥311 billion and operating profit of ¥49.5 billion for the full year.
