U.S. Army Awards Pegasystems Contract With $419 Million Ceiling
The 10-year ordering vehicle has a five-year base period and a five-year option, with funding set as orders are placed.

The U.S. Army awarded Pegasystems Inc. a software contract with a $419 million ceiling, creating a 10-year ordering vehicle for subscriptions, technical support and outcome-based professional services.
The award was made Oct. 29, 2026. Its maximum cumulative ceiling is $419,008,835.54, and its estimated completion date is Oct. 28, 2036. The ordering period has a five-year base and a five-year option.
The contract is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity vehicle, with funding and work locations determined as orders are placed. Its ceiling does not establish how much the Army will ultimately spend.
The Army identified Pegasystems as the only responsible source because the company owns the platform’s source code, rules engine and visual low-code framework. The Army solicited one bid and received one.
The software supports business process management, low-code application development, AI-driven decision-making and case management. Authorized Army and Department of War organizations can access the software, Pega Cloud for Government hosting, support and services through the agreement.
Pegasystems announced the award Nov. 4. “This new contract gives the Army a more direct way to access Pega technology and services,” said Doug Averill, Pega’s vice president and global industry market leader.
