Perimeter Group expects 2026 capital expenditures near the high end of its $30 million to $40 million long-term annual range as it works to improve supply reliability at Phosphorus Derivatives Inc. (PDI), a lubricant additives business.

Management outlined the spending outlook during the company’s Nov. 5 earnings call and reiterated its long-term annual capital expenditure range. The company recorded $12.7 million in capital expenditures for the quarter ended Sept. 30. Purchases of property and equipment totaled $31.2 million during the first nine months of 2026.

PDI makes phosphorus pentasulfide-based lubricant additives and is part of Perimeter’s Specialty Products segment. Management discussed higher near-term costs as the company works to improve supply reliability at the business.

The Specialty Products segment recorded $77.3 million in third-quarter revenue and $21.9 million in adjusted EBITDA, up 84% and 140%, respectively, from a year earlier. Those figures are for the segment as a whole.

Perimeter’s third-quarter results also included 24% sales growth and adjusted diluted earnings per share of $0.85. The company did not provide a timetable for when PDI’s results would normalize.
