Kinross Gold plans to pay Royal Gold about $43 million to buy back 25% of its royalty on the Great Bear project. The transaction would leave Royal Gold with a 1.5% net smelter return (NSR) royalty.

Royal Gold reported third-quarter revenue of $465 million and operating cash flow of $344 million. The cash flow figure marked the company's third consecutive quarterly record.

At September-end, Royal Gold had about $1.5 billion in available liquidity. Its $1.4 billion revolving credit facility remained available.
