10x Genomics Raises 2026 Revenue Outlook, Targets 50 Atera Shipments
The updated revenue range implies 4% to 6% growth over 2025 after excluding nonrecurring license and royalty revenue tied to patent litigation settlements.

10x Genomics raised its 2026 revenue outlook and lifted its year-end Atera shipment target to about 50 instruments, a quarter more than its previous goal.
The new revenue range is $625 million to $635 million, compared with the previous $610 million to $630 million. Removing one-time licensing and royalty income from patent settlements in both years, the forecast implies 4% to 6% revenue growth in 2026.
Third-quarter revenue was $150.7 million for the period ended Sept. 30, up 1% from $149 million a year earlier. 10x Genomics tied the forecast revision to the quarter’s performance, stronger-than-anticipated spatial consumables and the higher Atera shipment outlook.
The company now expects to ship approximately 50 Atera instruments by year-end, up from approximately 40 previously. It began global commercial shipments in September after introducing Atera in April as an in situ spatial biology platform designed for whole-transcriptome analysis with single-cell sensitivity.
“The biggest highlight of the quarter was the start of commercial shipments of Atera,” said 10x Genomics Co-founder and CEO Serge Saxonov.
