Quantum-Si Incorporated is targeting a launch of Proteus in the second quarter of 2027 and expects adjusted operating expenses for 2026 to be $87 million or less.

CEO Jeffrey Hawkins described the plan as part of “our 3 corporate priorities for 2026,” which he said include Proteus readiness, launch preparation and cash preservation. He also said Quantum-Si believes it has “substantially addressed the instrument variability issues” identified earlier.
