Extra Space Storage Declares $1.62 Fourth-Quarter Dividend

Extra Space Storage Inc. declared a fourth-quarter 2026 dividend of $1.62 per common share, matching its previous payout, with payment scheduled for Dec. 31 to shareholders of record Dec. 15.

The company announced the dividend Nov. 5. Shareholders must be recorded at the close of business Dec. 15 to qualify for the payment.

The $1.62 dividend matches the third-quarter 2026 payment, which Extra Space paid Sept. 30 to shareholders of record Sept. 15.

Extra Space is a real estate investment trust and an S&P 500 member. As of Sept. 30, 2026, its portfolio included 342.2 million rentable square feet across 4,411 self-storage properties and about 3.0 million units.
