HKEX Profit Falls 1% as Exchange Adds Record 25 ETPs in Q3
The quarter included the first multi-asset actively managed ETF investing in both gold futures and physical Bitcoin.

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) reported a 1% year-over-year decline in net profit, below the average analyst estimate. The quarter saw a record 25 new exchange-traded product (ETP) launches.
The results covered the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2026. Core business revenue was flat year over year.
The new products included the first multi-asset actively managed ETF to invest in both gold futures and physical Bitcoin (BTC). HKEX Chief Executive 陈翊庭 said the exchange remained committed to building a deeper, more diverse multi-asset ecosystem amid greater macroeconomic uncertainty and continued market volatility.
