AngloGold Ashanti Sets Dec. 11 Payment for $361 Million Dividend

AngloGold Ashanti set Dec. 11 as the payment date for a $361 million interim dividend covering the quarter ended Sept. 30. The payout is 71 U.S. cents per ordinary share, and the company’s New York Stock Exchange ticker is AU.

For NYSE shareholders, Nov. 27 is both the ex-dividend date and the record date. The record date determines which shareholders qualify for the payment. The ex-dividend date marks when buyers are no longer entitled to the declared dividend.

The quarterly payout is lower than the 91 cents per share declared for the same period in 2025. Through the first three quarters of 2026, AngloGold Ashanti declared $1.31 billion in dividends, equal to $2.59 per share.

Free cash flow came to $722 million in the third quarter, versus $920 million in the year-earlier quarter, a 22% decline. The dividend declaration was included with the third-quarter results.
