BrasilAgro - Companhia Brasileira de Propriedades Agrícolas (NYSE: LND) plans to cut short-term debt by BRL 150 million using farm-sale receivables, while maintaining dividend payments as a commitment to shareholders.

The company’s net debt-to-EBITDA ratio was 1.05x. Management described that level as comfortable and close to 1x.

CEO André Guillaumon cited BRL 81 million in net income for first-quarter 2027.

Management said farm sales are within the company’s control, although selling land in the current market is challenging. It said farm purchases would make sense at expected returns of about 7% to 8%, and that financing land at high interest rates would not make sense when returns were lower.
