ZebPay CTO Anuj Garg said 10% to 20% of the Indian exchange’s users make recurring crypto purchases through systematic investment plans, or SIPs. The percentage describes ZebPay users and cannot establish how common SIPs are across India.

Garg did not define whether “users” means registered users, active users or another group, and gave no measurement period. The figure does not show whether SIP use is growing.

Bitcoin (BTC) was the most selected asset for ZebPay SIPs, Garg said, followed by Ether (ETH), Solana (SOL) and Cardano (ADA).

ZebPay launched its SIP feature in January 2026. Customers can schedule purchases in rupees daily, weekly or monthly, with each order made at the prevailing market price.

The interview also addressed hacks, security, trust and regulation. Garg pushed back on the idea that confidence in crypto is disappearing, saying, “It's not fair to say that trust in crypto is disappearing.”
