Bloomin' Brands set a fiscal 2026 adjusted earnings outlook of $0.97 to $1.02 per share, while forecasting slower U.S. comparable-sales growth in the fourth quarter.

The company expects U.S. comparable sales to grow 1% to 1.5% for the year and 0% to 1% in the fourth quarter. Management expects holiday shifts and delayed pricing actions at Outback and Bonefish to weigh on fourth-quarter traffic by about 2%.

Third-quarter revenue was $944 million, and the company posted an adjusted diluted loss of $0.17 per share.

Out West, one of Bloomin' Brands' domestic Outback franchisees, filed for bankruptcy protection. Separately, Bloomin' Brands entered a stalking-horse purchase agreement covering 61 Outback restaurants. Management expects the process to take a couple of months, the restaurants to operate normally and no material impact in the fourth quarter.
