Warsaw Stock Exchange, XTB Announce EU Access Pilot for Warsaw-Listed Instruments
The first phase gives XTB clients in EU countries automatic access without a separate request. The announcement does not say whether or when access will expand beyond the bloc.

The Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) and XTB announced a pilot Friday, Nov. 6, that gives XTB clients in European Union countries automatic access to Warsaw-listed instruments without a separate application.
Before the pilot, automatic access on XTB was available only to clients in Poland. Other foreign retail customers had to submit a separate request to access instruments listed in Warsaw through the platform.
The cooperation is part of GPW’s program to expand the exchange’s reach among foreign retail investors. XTB also plans informational and promotional campaigns about Poland’s capital market.
Poland had more than three million brokerage accounts at the end of September. XTB maintained 1.285 million of them.
“We also see interest in the Polish market from our foreign clients,” XTB management board member Filip Kaczmarzyk said. GPW management board member Michał Kobza said, “We want to use their international reach.”
No timetable for access beyond the bloc or list of eligible Warsaw-listed instruments has been provided.
