GSI Technology Forecasts Fiscal Q3 2027 Revenue at $5 Million to $6 Million
GSI also plans immediate price increases for new orders and changes to existing customer backlog beginning Jan. 1, 2027.

GSI Technology, Inc. expects fiscal third-quarter 2027 revenue of $5 million to $6 million and gross margin of about 38% to 40%, following a 6.6% year-over-year sales decline in Q2.
Revenue for the three months through Sept. 30 totaled $6.019 million, compared with $6.444 million in the year-earlier quarter. Gross margin narrowed to 48.5% from 54.8%. The decline reflected an unfavorable product mix and higher manufacturing costs, with supply constraints affecting wafers and outsourced assembly, burn-in and test operations.
GSI maintained its March 2027 target for Plato’s tape-out, with initial sampling of first-spin chips targeted for late summer 2027. The March target had been announced in July. Third-party design consultant disruptions remain a risk to the March tape-out schedule and could add development costs.
GSI plans to raise prices on new orders immediately and apply increases to existing customer backlog starting Jan. 1, 2027. Management expects the pricing changes, together with improved product availability, to support a recovery in revenue and gross margin beginning in fiscal Q4 2027.
