Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Limited expects December-quarter revenue of $170 million to $190 million, with management projecting growth in a period that is typically softer for the company.

Revenue in the September quarter was $177.8 million. AI and server applications reached approximately 20% of revenue during the quarter. Traditional PC demand faced pressure from memory costs and component constraints.

Non-GAAP gross margin increased 150 basis points from the previous quarter to 25.2%, mainly because of product mix. For the December quarter, the company expects a non-GAAP gross margin of 25.7%, with a 1 percentage-point range in either direction.
