MSC Income Fund management described its private-loan pipeline as well above average after the fund’s private-loan investments fell $11 million in the third quarter, while its board set a $0.36-per-share payout for Q1 2027.

The board declared $0.33 per share in regular dividends and a separate $0.03 supplemental payment for the first quarter. More details are in the fund’s Q1 2027 dividend declaration.

Management expects quarterly distributions to broadly track adjusted net investment income per share before taxes. It identified new investments, particularly debt-only investments that generate current returns immediately, as a key driver of income growth.

Management expressed confidence in finding attractive opportunities. It said the timing of leverage growth depends on market conditions and deal closings, and gave no specific timeframe.

Nick Meserve is scheduled to become the fund’s CEO on Monday, Nov. 9, continuing a transition announced in June.
